The Undergraduate Study Program

Undergraduate Study Program

Students in the Bahā’ī study programme take theoretical courses that total 12 credit points. In addition, they are required to attend a beginners’ course in Persian in the second year of their degree (for 8 credit points) and an advanced course in the third year (8 credit points).

 

First academic year of the program

  • Introduction to the Bahā’ī Faith – 2 credit points
  • Reading Bahā’ī texts – 2 credit points
  • Persian for beginners – 8 credit points

Second academic year of the program

  • Textual courses: Bahā’ī scriptures and texts – 4 credit points
  • A Seminar, including the writing of a seminar paper – 2 credit points
  • Elective Bahā’ī courses – 2 credit points
  • Advanced Persian – 8 credit points

The study program includes tours of Bahā’ī sacred sites in Haifa and Acre.
